How are credits computed? +
Each task — whether it's a URL screenshot, an HTML-to-image render, a scheduled capture, or a bulk job item — costs 1 credit. Credits are consumed per successful screenshot generated, not per API call.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my pricing plan at any time? +
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you'll be charged the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
How are custom pricing plans determined for Enterprise? +
Enterprise pricing is based on your expected monthly volume, required rate limits, SLA needs, and any custom integrations. Email hello@peekshot.com to discuss a plan tailored to your team's requirements.
Does PeekShot offer discounts for non-profits or educational institutions? +
PeekShot does not offer specific discounts for non-profit or educational institutions at this time. If your organisation has unique requirements, you can still reach us at hello@peekshot.com to discuss options.
Are there any hidden fees or charges? +
No. The price you see on this page is what you pay. There are no setup fees, no overage charges that activate automatically, and no hidden costs. If you exceed your credit limit, screenshots will pause — not charge extra.
What happens if I exceed my monthly credit limit? +
If you exhaust your monthly credits, new screenshot requests will be paused until your credits reset at the start of the next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time to restore access immediately.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time without penalty? +
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard, and you'll retain access to your plan until the end of your current billing period.
Are there limits on API calls per month? +
There is no hard cap on the number of API calls — your limit is determined by your credit balance and your rate limit (requests per second). Trial is limited to 10 req/min, Basic to 20 req/min, and Advance to 30 req/min.
How secure is the payment process? +
All payments are processed through Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. PeekShot never stores your card details. Your payment data is encrypted and handled entirely by Stripe's secure infrastructure.
How does PeekShot determine credits in my plan? +
Each plan includes a fixed monthly credit allocation — 100 for Trial, 2,000 for Basic, and 6,000 for Advance. Credits reset on your billing anniversary each month. Unused credits do not roll over to the next cycle.
Can I roll over credits from one billing cycle to the next? +
Credits do not roll over between billing cycles. Your allocation resets each month on your renewal date. If you find you consistently have unused credits, consider whether a lower plan suits your usage better.
What happens to my credits and screenshots if my subscription ends? +
When your subscription ends, unused credits are forfeited. Your stored screenshot URLs will continue to be accessible for 30 days, after which hosted images may be removed. We recommend exporting any URLs you wish to keep before cancelling.
Can I sell or transfer my PeekShot credits to another user? +
Credits are non-transferable and tied to your account. They cannot be sold, gifted, or transferred to another PeekShot user. If your team needs shared access, consider using a shared team account.
